During a press conference in Tel Aviv to talk about the course of the war on its twenty-sixth

 day and a day after the start of the ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, Israeli Defense

 Minister Yoav Galant said this evening that his army threw more than 10 thousand bombs

 on Gaza City alone.

Gallant said, " We dropped ten thousand bombs on Gaza City."

Since the outbreak of the war between Hamas and Israel on October 7, the latter has used

 tremendous firepower that exceeded all previous wars on the Strip.

They began to use what is known as the"fire belt", which means launching dozens of raids

 on one place.

The American news network "CNN" reported that the bombs that fell on the Strip in 6 days

 are equivalent to all the bombs that fell on it in the 2014 war, which lasted 51 days.

The "Washington Post" newspaper said that Israel dropped bombs on Gaza in a week

 parallel to the American dropped in Afghanistan in a whole year.

Last October, Palestinian estimates stated that the Israeli army dropped 12 thousand tons of

 explosives on Gaza, which is equivalent to the power of the nuclear bomb dropped on

 Hiroshima during World War II.

Galant said that the Israeli army had assassinated most of the leaders of Hamas ' Anti-Armor

 Missile System, and also confirmed the army's readiness on all fronts in Lebanon, Syria, the

 West Bank and further fronts.

He stated that he talks on a daily basis with my American counterpart Austin

In response to a question about the launch of missiles and marches by the Houthis, he said:

 "We are aware of the situation and we know how we will act".
