As an extension of the ground invasion carried out by Israel on the Gaza Strip, Israel
continues air, land and sea strikes in all areas of the Strip, but the focus is more on the areas
of the northern Gaza Strip and the neighborhoods of Gaza City, which were subjected to
hundreds of air strikes throughout the night in what was described as the most violent and
bloodiest and destructive since the beginning of the war.

Gaza Strip - October,28,2023
Since the morning, Israeli warplanes have been carrying out airstrikes, including targeting a
house in the AL-Maghazi camp and another in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, and
several airstrikes on houses in Khan Younis, while dozens of tanks and armored military
vehicles penetrated near the borders of the town of Beit Hanoun, an area that witnessed
clashes with Hamas fighters who said they repelled several attempts of Israeli ground
invasion.
The spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Ashraf al-Qudra, said
that the death toll as a result of Israeli airstrikes has risen to 7,703 people killed since the
seventh of October, including 3,595 children, in addition to 19,743 injured.
He added that during the past hours, 377 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip, the
majority of them were displaced people who were forced to go to safe areas in the southern
Gaza Strip.
He confirmed that the Ministry of Health has received 1,800 missing persons reports,
including 1,000 reports of children under the rubble.
"The Israeli shelling during the night turned the Strip into a ball of fire,"he added.
Residents of the Gaza Strip described what happened yesterday as a "massacre" by the Israeli army.
The interruption of internet and communication services lasted for more than ten hours
until early on Saturday. Telecommunications companies and the Red Crescent Society said
the outage was caused by Israeli shelling.
