The local authorities in Gaza held a mass burial ceremony for 43 people, whose identities could not be determined by the authorities or their relatives, according to the local government information office.

Among them were women who were killed while embracing their children, as their fragments were mixed together, which made it difficult to identify them.

Among the victims were unborn fetuses, whose mothers ' bodies were torn apart by Israeli shelling. And there were many bodies the dismembered are among those buried on Saturday.

Salameh Maarouf, head of the Government Information Office, said that the remains of whole family members were gathered in one coffin before the mass burial.

This is the second time the Palestinian authorities have been forced to conduct a mass burial of unidentified persons since 7

October, due to the fact that the bodies remained in the morgues for a long time without anyone being able to identify them.

"We took the step of honoring the martyrs by burying them, and their features began to change in the morgue,"Maarouf said in his statement.

Earlier, the authorities said that photos were taken and the discriminatory signs of unidentified people were documented before they were buried as

Forensic Medicine conducted its analyzes, numbers and signs were put on their graves, so that their families could identify them at a time later .
