After the video that documented the horrific incident went viral and occupied their entire world story, the US authorities uncovered the fate of the two children who were dumped over the wall, the border between the US and Mexico, by smugglers.

A video footage captured by a surveillance camera went viral days ago, showing two smugglers approaching the border wall between the United States and Mexico, one of which topped the high wall and dumped the girls on the American side, specifically near El Paso, Texas.

The children hit the ground hard, and one appeared to be immobile by falling from high altitude, before gathering and moving again.

Because a surveillance camera documented the incident, authorities in the Santa Teresa area were immediately informed, where they succeeded in rescuing the two children.

The US website Fox News posted a new photo revealing the condition of the 5 and 3-year-old, who appeared to interact with a female policewoman at the El Paso Police Treatment Center.

A policewoman showed up snacking for the two girls from Ecuador, looking healthy.

Fox News explained that after the girls were found, they were taken to a hospital to make sure they were not seriously injured and are in good condition.

Police officer Gloria Chávez said that authorities in the area were working with her counterpart in Mexico to find the smugglers who had committed the crime.

The number of arrests of illegal immigrants that took place only in March at the US-Mexico border reached 171,000, the highest monthly level since April 2000, when border guards arrested more than 180,000 migrants.
