Turkey has officially commented on a serious German report that pointed to Turkish authorities closing killings of Turkish women by turning them into suicides.

The official Turkish comment, after accusations of closing murder files by the German website Deutsche Welle, was made through the publication of a news story entitled: "Closing cases of murders of women in Turkey as suicides."

The Turkish authorities directly denied the allegations in the German newspaper confirming effective investigation procedures under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Turkey.

The General Directorate of Turkish Security confirmed the denial of the charges at the Deutsche Welle site, that it was fabricated news and noted that according to the Criminal Court Code of Suspicion of a Crime, evidence was collected and an effective investigation was conducted by order of the Turkish Public Prosecutor.

According to the Turkish Anatolian Agency, the Turkish Public Prosecutor evaluates information and evidence and if he "concludes that there is no suspicion of a crime, a decision may be taken not to pursue the case," confirming that the case could be reopened in case of new evidence.

The General Directorate of Turkish Security (DGSS) indicated that there was a follow-up of actions and actions relating to events considered by the Turkish Public Prosecutor (suspicious death) or (suicide).

The Directorate noted that if the incident is described as "premeditated murder," the necessary updates are made in the "Relevant Statistics of the Year."

The Directorate considered the news to show German public opinion ignorance (ignorance of the newspaper) in explaining the functioning of Turkish law and the nature of the relationship between the judiciary and the Turkish security forces.
