Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced today, Monday, that the Armenian people are ready to accept compromises to settle the conflict in Karabakh, but will not accept surrender.

In a speech broadcast live on his Facebook page, Pashinyan said, "I want all of us to be fully aware that Azerbaijan does not want to accept a compromise solution in order to settle the issue, but rather wants Karabakh to surrender. We are ready for mutual concessions and even concessions that may be painful." For us, the Armenian people will never be ready to surrender. "

As for the fate of the last truce in Karabakh, Pashinyan admitted that it did not hold up like its predecessors, blaming the Azerbaijani side for continuing the battles.
