47 days after the start of the Al-Aqsa flood on the seventh of October in the Gaza Strip and the subsequent tragic events, Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on a four-

year humanitarian truce starting tomorrow morning, followed by the release of the first batch of civilian hostages to the Hamas movement hours later, as announced by the

spokesman of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs Majid Al-Ansari and the Hamas movement on Thursday .

During the truce, Hamas will release 50 women and children from among the hostages it is

holding in Gaza in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian women and children from Israeli prisons.

The humanitarian truce will begin at seven o'clock on Friday morning... The first batch of

civilian hostages will be delivered from the Gaza Strip at four o'clock on Friday evening," he

said, adding that the number of those released will be 13.

The "Qassam Brigades", in turn, announced that three Palestinian prisoners of women and

children will be released for every Israeli prisoner, provided that 50 Israeli prisoners of

women and children under the age of 19 will be released within four days. She added that

the truce includes "the entry of 200 trucks of relief and medical materials daily to all areas

of the Gaza Strip," as well as four "fuel trucks as well as cooking gas to all areas of the Gaza

Strip, and all military actions by both sides will be stopped.

"The Israeli Air Force will stop flying over Gaza for 6 hours a day during the truce, starting at

 10 a.m.,"the statement said.

The Israeli authorities had announced that there would be no cessation of hostilities or the

release of hostages held in Gaza "before Friday", while a Palestinian source familiar with the

talks of the truce agreement between Israel and Hamas said that the delay in the entry into

force of the truce "has to do with the last-minute details regarding the names of Israeli

prisoners and the mechanism for their extradition".

The Israeli press was talking about a plan to release the first batch of hostages at midday

after the truce came into force at Ten in the morning local time.

The government office in Israel even invited journalists late yesterday evening to come to a

media center in Tel Aviv dedicated to the"return of the hostages" starting at noon on

 Thursday.

Israel says 240 people-Israelis, dual nationals and foreigners-have been abducted in the

deadliest and most widespread attacks in the state of Israel's 75-year history.

According to the latest toll issued by the "Hamas" government, more than 14,100 people

have been killed in the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the

war, most of them children and women.
