Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid revealed a list of 5
requests to be submitted by the foreign ministers of the five Arab countries during their
meeting with Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of state, today, in the Jordanian capital Amman.
He said through a tweet on his page on the X website (formerly Twitter) today, that there
will be a unified Arab position that does not accept shaking or ambiguity, which will be
conveyed to the US Secretary of state, namely the "need for an immediate cessation of
Israeli aggressions","priority entry of aid","non-displacement","ending the occupation", and
the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Abu Zeid stressed that the meeting, which will be attended by the foreign ministers of Egypt,
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Qatar, and the secretary of the
executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, will aim to coordinate efforts
to stop the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip,"put an end to Israeli attacks on civilians of the
Palestinian people," and work to ensure the immediate and sustainable flow of
humanitarian aid to the Strip.
The foreign ministry spokesman revealed that the Arab meeting will be followed by a
meeting of Arab ministers with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, aimed at conveying
the Arab position in an integrated and unified manner, represented by the priority of the
ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, dealing with the deteriorating humanitarian situation, and then
starting to address the root causes of the crisis.
