The official spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ansar Allah, Brigadier General Yahya Srei, said
in a statement that"the armed forces had to fulfill their duty to rely on Allah and a victory
for the historical oppression of the Dear Palestinian people".
"The Yemeni armed forces launched a large batch of ballistic and winged missiles and a
large number of drones at various targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupie territories,"he said.
He revealed that" this operation is the third operation in support of our oppressed brothers
in Palestine,"stressing the continuation of carrying out more qualitative strikes with rockets
and drones until the Israeli aggression stops.
Agence France-Presse quoted the head of the caretaker government of Ansar Allah, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, as saying that the drones launched towards Eilat in southern Israel
belong to the state of Yemen.
The official Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported, earlier this morning, the interception of
a drone coming from Yemen over the Red Sea. "The sirens sounded in Eilat after a drone
launched from Yemen was intercepted in the Red Sea," she said.
For its part, the IDF said in a brief statement on the "X" platform: "following up on the initial
report, the IDF's systems detected an air target approaching the territory of the state of
Israel. There is no threat, there is no danger".
At dawn last Friday, the Egyptian military spokesman reported the downing of a drone that
occurred in the city of Taba adjacent to the Israeli border, and a projectile landed in the city
of Nuweiba, on the Red Sea.
Later, the spokesman of the Egyptian army, in an official statement via his official page on
social networking sites, that " analysis and collection of information, the results of
investigations resulted that a number of (2) unmanned guided aircraft was heading from the
south of the Red Sea to the north, where one of them was targeted outside the Egyptian
airspace in the Gulf of Aqaba, resulting in some of its debris falling in an uninhabited area in
Nuweiba, in addition to the other in Taba.
"The Air Force and the air defense forces are intensifying the work of securing the Egyptian
airspace in all strategic directions of the state,"the spokesman added.
On Friday evening, Israel said that " the drones that landed in the Egyptian cities of Taba and
Nuweiba were launched by the Yemeni Ansar Allah group, which was primarily targeting
them.
Last Saturday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that drones entered the Egyptian
border and were shot down. He explained that in this case the area will be a ticking time
bomb that will cause harm to everyone.
He stressed that Egypt is sovereign, calling on everyone to respect its sovereignty and status,
and continued: "without any exaggeration or obfuscation .. Egypt is a very strong and
untouchable country".
The Yemeni group Ansar Allah has previously announced that it will"gradually participate in
confronting Zionist crimes in accordance with developments on the ground and
coordination with partners".
The head of the Supreme Political Council of the Yemeni Ansar Allah group, Mahdi al-
Mashat, said that "the war in Palestine has become a war against Islam in which the West
and America stand on the side of the Zionist enemy".
