The Cairo peace summit was launched to discuss the developments of the Palestinian issue today in an effort to push for calm and put an end to the attacks

And the activation of the peace process in the Middle East, and the discussion of finding an urgent settlement to the decades-long conflict, with regional participation

And international.

The meeting today in the new administrative capital of Egypt, east of Cairo, will discuss ways to calm the fighting and seek a ceasefire

The fire comes amid growing concerns about a regional conflict, Egyptian state media reported.

The meeting is also seen as the beginning of a future phase in the region, which will paint the new face of the confrontation between Israel and its regional neighbors.

Last week, Egypt called for an "international regional summit to address the developments and the future of the Palestinian issue".

The summit is attended by 31 countries and 3 international organizations, as well as the leaders of Palestine, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Turkey

Greece, Kuwait, Iraq, Italy and Cyprus, in addition to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who praised

The Egyptian role in arranging the emergency summit and the delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.

The prime ministers of Britain, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Turkey and Brazil are also in attendance, as well as the presence of the special envoy

The Republic of China, the US Special Envoy, the minister of foreign affairs of Morocco, the minister of foreign affairs of Norway, the deputy

Russian foreign minister, president of the European Council.

Palestinians and the world are looking forward to the Cairo peace summit with hopes of halting the Israeli escalation on the Gaza Strip, which is entering its week

The third has claimed the lives of more than 3 thousand people to date.
