The Egyptian President explained that the idea of displacing Palestinians to Sinai means dragging Egypt into a war against Israel.
"Sisi pointed out that Egypt refuses to liquidate the Palestinian issue, following up: Egypt is a sovereign state, and the idea of displacing Palestinians to Sinai means dragging Egypt into a war against Israel, in addition to that the tightening of the blockade on the Gaza Strip aims to displace Palestinians to Sinai.
The Egyptian president said that he discussed with the German Chancellor Egypt's efforts to calm the situation in Gaza, noting that "I propose to transfer civilians from Gaza to the Israeli Negev desert until the end of military operations" if Israel insists on the idea of displacement.
Sisi went on to say that the "displacement" of Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt may lead to "displacement" from the West Bank to Jordan.
Sisi added that Egypt rejects the liquidation of the Palestinian issue and the displacement of Palestinians from their lands, pointing out that Egypt has not closed the Rafah crossing since the beginning of the crisis, but the Israeli bombing prevented its operation.
Sisi called for humanitarian aid to be allowed into the Gaza Strip ,and said that "the continuation of military operations will have repercussions on the region and could get out of control".
He added that Egypt condemns all military actions targeting civilians, warning against entering the region into a vicious cycle of violence.
He continued: the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is deteriorating, pointing out that Egypt refuses to displace Palestinians, and what is happening in the Gaza Strip aims to displace them to Egypt.
President Sisi explained that the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank eliminates the two-state solution .
The German Chancellor arrived in Egypt on Wednesday after a quick visit to Israel.
Schulz expressed horror at the images of an explosion at a Gaza hospital that killed hundreds and called for a thorough investigation.
Schultz wrote on the X-site, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday: "innocent civilians have been injured and killed. Our hearts are with the families of the victims".
