Medical equipment to support the residents of Gaza, who are living under difficult conditions after the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas.

President Al-Sisi stressed on continuing his efforts to send more humanitarian aid in all forms until the situation improves in Gaza

He expressed his deep regret over the escalation of violence in Gaza, which threatens international peace and contradicts the UN Charter to preserve  on human rights

Gaza officials and two Egyptian security sources said that Egypt is moving to prevent a mass exodus from the Gaza Strip to the peninsula

Sinai, while Israeli shelling caused the closure of the only exit crossing from the Palestinian Strip to Egypt, Tuesday.

The two Egyptian security sources added that the Israeli attack on Gaza is of concern to Cairo, which called on Israel to open a corridor

It is safe for civilians to leave the strip instead of encouraging them to flee towards Sinai, according to the Reuters news agency.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that the current escalation between Israel and the Palestinians is "very dangerous" and has repercussions that may they affect the security and stability of the region

He said that Egypt is communicating "with all international forces and all influential regional parties in order to reach an immediate stop for violence"

Sisi, in statements quoted by the official Middle East news agency, added that Egypt: "will not allow the liquidation of the issue

Palestinians at the expense of other parties," in a clear reference to the danger of pushing Palestinians into Sinai.

Security sources said that the Rafah border crossing remained closed on Wednesday morning after Egyptian military aircraft flew nearby from him last night

According to sources, the Egyptian army has taken up new positions near the border and is conducting patrols to monitor the area.

Rafah is the only available crossing point for Gaza's estimated 2.3 million residents. The rest of the sector is surrounded by Israel and the sea 

Israel imposes a tight blockade on the movement of goods and people to and from Gaza, and Egypt tightens border measures.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army amended a recommendation from one of its spokesmen advising Palestinians fleeing its airstrikes in  the Gaza Strip is heading to Egypt

Israel is raining down the heaviest air strikes on Gaza in the 75-year history of the conflict since Hamas invaded Israel saturday

Egypt, the first Arab country to conclude a peace agreement with Tel Aviv, mediated between Israel and Palestinian factions during rounds

There is a precedent of the conflict in Gaza and pressure to prevent further escalation of the current fighting.
