During the launch of the summit of neighboring countries to Sudan to discuss the Sudanese crisis, which Egypt is hosting to reach a solution to the Sudanese crisis, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi presented his country's vision for Sudan to get out of its current impasse, which is based on the demand of the warring parties to de-escalate and start without delay, in serious negotiations aimed at reaching an immediate and sustainable ceasefire.

The vision presented by Egypt calls on all Sudanese parties to facilitate all humanitarian assistance, establish safe corridors to deliver such assistance to the most needy areas inside Sudan and establish mechanisms to ensure the provision of the necessary protection for humanitarian aid convoys and international relief personnel to enable them to perform their work.

The Egyptian vision is based on the launch of an inclusive dialogue of the Sudanese parties, with the participation of political and civil forces, representatives of women and youth, aimed at launching a comprehensive political process that meets the aspirations and aspirations of the Sudanese people in security, stability and democracy.

In his speech during the opening of the summit of Sudan's neighboring countries in Cairo, Sisi also called for the formation of a communication mechanism emanating from this conference to develop an executive action plan to reach a comprehensive solution to the Sudanese crisis, provided that the mechanism carries out direct communication with the parties to the crisis and coordination with existing mechanisms and frameworks.

Sisi also called on the Sudanese neighboring countries to unify their vision and positions towards the crisis in Sudan, and to take coordinated and unified decisions that contribute to solving the crisis, in consultation with the theses of effective regional institutions, headed by the African Union and the league of Arab states to preserve the interests and capabilities of the peoples of neighboring countries and the security and stability of the region as a whole.

The Egyptian President pointed out the seriousness of the current crisis faced by Sudan and the repercussions of the ongoing fighting, for more than three months, which resulted in the loss of hundreds of civilian lives and the displacement of millions of people to safer areas inside Sudan, or to seek refuge in neighboring countries, as well as the serious material losses suffered by public and private property and the destruction of many vital facilities in the country, in addition to the obstacles facing the agricultural season, which resulted in an acute shortage of food, the conflict and its negative repercussions, the deterioration of health institutions, a shortage of medicines and health care supplies, which catastrophic consequences, on the whole The humanitarian situation.

Sisi said that this sharp deterioration of the humanitarian situation and the catastrophic consequences of the crisis require an immediate and sustained cessation of military operations, in order to preserve the capabilities of the Sudanese people and the state institutions, to be able to carry out their responsibility towards citizens, which allows a serious, coordinated and rapid humanitarian response from all parties of the international community to rise to the enormity of this serious crisis, which requires addressing its roots, through reaching a comprehensive political solution that responds to the hopes and aspirations of the Sudanese people.

Sisi praised the great effort taken by the neighboring countries of Sudan, which have received hundreds of thousands of displaced people and shared their limited resources in light of the extremely difficult global economic situation.

The Egyptian president called on all parties of the international community to fulfill their pledges announced at the relief conference in support of Sudan, which was held last June by supporting the most affected neighboring countries of Sudan from the negative consequences of the crisis in order to enhance their resilience and alleviate the suffering on the shoulders of those fleeing the conflict to neighboring countries.

Sisi explained that Egypt took the initiative immediately after the outbreak of the crisis in Sudan, to receive hundreds of thousands of Sudanese who joined the nearly five million Sudanese citizens living on Egyptian territory for several years.

The Egyptian government also provided urgent relief assistance, including food and medical supplies to Sudanese citizens affected by the conflict inside Sudanese territory.

Sisi stressed that Egypt will do everything possible in cooperation with all parties to stop the bleeding of Sudanese blood, preserve the gains of the people of Sudan, and help achieve the aspirations of its people.

Sisi pointed out that Egypt will work to facilitate the access of humanitarian aid provided by donor countries to Sudan through Egyptian territory in coordination with the relevant international agencies and organizations.

The Egyptian President stressed the need to uphold the supreme interest of all Sudanese and to work to preserve the sovereignty and unity of Sudan, away from external interventions that seek to achieve narrow interests that do not serve the stability or security of Sudan, and the region.
