"Fierce battles are taking place everywhere, the situation is complicated,"Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Gana Maliyar wrote on social networks.

She added that the Ukrainian forces, for their part, are advancing in one region in the east of the country and two regions in the South.

She explained that " the enemy is advancing in the Avdiivka, Marinka and Lyman regions. The enemy is also advancing in the svatov sector".

These areas are located in Donetsk province, where the fighting between the parties is raging under the counteroffensive launched by Kiev.
