In a brief declaration, The White House spokesman said his country expects more relations ties and contacts with Chinese officials after US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi in Vienna.

On Friday John Kirby, a spokesman for the US National Security Council said US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi in Vienna and so they expect more future contacts.
"We hope that this will provide additional possibilities for activating negotiations with the Chinese side, including the visit of Secretary of State Blinken to Beijing and the possible visits of (US Treasury and Commerce) Yellen and Raimondo," said John Kirby, a spokesman for the US National Security Council, during a press conference on Friday...
This came in a comment on the negotiations held in Vienna on May 10-11 between US President's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Chief of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Yi.
