During a joint press conference held by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, who is currently visiting Cairo at the beginning of an African tour, Sisi affirmed his country's vision on the situation in Sudan, calling for an immediate, permanent and comprehensive cease-fire in Sudan and the importance of refraining from any external party from interfering in the crisis, as a purely Sudanese.

encourage its companies to pump more investments into Egypt


Sisi also expressed his hope that Japan will work with development partners to discuss ways to alleviate the exceptional challenges imposed on many developing countries,

especially the economic consequences of the Ukrainian crisis on developing countries, which exceeded the rise in inflation, energy, and food prices caused by the "corona"

pandemic, under the current presidency of Japan of the group of Seven industrialized countries
