Given the frequent position between Iran and Western countries between tension and attraction regarding the nuclear agreement, the US State Department said today that the US has received Iran's response to the EU proposal regarding the nuclear deal and is considering it.
"We have received Iran's comments through the European Union and are studying them, we share the views of the European Union."
On Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian said that America had verbally agreed to two proposals for Iran. The final proposals were due to be sent by midnight yesterday.
Earlier in the day, Iran said that it had submitted its written response to the European Union's proposed text, stressing that an agreement would be reached if the United States response was realistic and flexible.
Mohammad Marandi, an adviser to Iran's negotiating team, said that "Iran has expressed its concerns, but it is not very difficult to resolve the remaining issues", explaining that "Iran's concerns relate to Western parties' reneging on the JCPOA."
