During a press conference in Tehran, with European Union foreign affairs official Josep Borrell, Iran's foreign minister, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, confirmed on Saturday his

country's readiness to "resume talks on reviving the nuclear deal."

"Our dialogue with Borrell has been positive on cooperation between Iran and the European Union," Abdullahian said, according to Iran's Fars agency.

Abdullahian revealed that there were deep and nuanced talks with the European Union on Iran's claims, stressing Tehran's readiness to resume nuclear talks.

He hoped that "Washington would realistically consider the Vienna negotiations in order to reach an agreement", stressing that Iran "will not stand by when it comes to Israel's moves against its nuclear programme".
