During the receipt of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, at the Federal Palace in Cairo, President al-Sisi stressed his country's

commitment to its consistent attitude towards Gulf security, which he considered an extension of Egyptian security, and rejected any practices that seek to destabilize and stabilize him.

Sisi praised the significant and qualitative development of Egyptian-Saudi relations in the political, economic, security and military fields, the remarkable growth in the trade rate, and the volume of investments between the two countries.

The Saudi Crown Prince said his visit to Egypt was "in furtherance of the course of distinguished relations between the two brothers and the continuous pace of consultation and regular and intensive coordination between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, on regional issues of mutual interest."

Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed the importance of "continuing to coordinate, consult intensively and exchange views between Egypt and Saudi Arabia to address the challenges and crises facing the Arab nation and to stand up to interventions in the internal affairs of the Arab States in a manner aimed at destabilizing the security of the region and its peoples."

The Egyptian presidential statement underscored the two sides' agreement on the importance of the upcoming summit, which Saudi Arabia will host between the leaders of the GCC, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and the United States.
