The Belarusian agency Belta quoted a statement from the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to journalists after being briefed on the conduct of Russian - Belarusian

"Union Packets 2022" at the Osipovicsky Field: "If necessary, if such stupid steps are taken by our opponents, we will deploy not only nuclear weapons, but super-nuclear weapons, in order to protect our territory."

And check: "If Belarus does not face threats from non-friendly States, nuclear weapons will not be needed here for 100 years."

At the same time, the Belarusian President reported that his country had agreed to the deployment of Russian S-400 missile systems on the outskirts of Minsk.

He said: "We can deploy it east of Minsk or on the outskirts of Minsk, and we will be able to see what's happening in Kiev, behind Warsaw and elsewhere."

In the Republic, there was currently one S400 system, which the Belarusian military was being trained to use in a training centre. He added: "If that's necessary, we'll supply two more systems, and we don't need any more."
