Accusing Moscow of seeking to terrorize the states of Europe in order to obey their demands, at a press conference, the Secretary-General of NATO confirmed that Russia continues to maintain offensive forces on Ukraine's borders.

The Secretary-General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, said that Russia was seeking to terrorize European States until their demands were accepted, and it still had offensive forces on Ukraine's borders.

Stoltenberg said: "Russia waved the use of force against its neighbors. We have not seen any de - escalation by Russia on the ground, "NATO is entitled to defend itself with Russia's willingness to challenge our security."

The Secretary-General of NATO confirmed that NATO defence ministers had agreed on additional options, including the deployment of combat forces in Eastern Europe.

Noting that military reinforcements in Eastern Europe were intended to counter Russian threats, he stressed that NATO did not plan to deploy offensive systems in Ukraine.

The Secretary-General of NATO said: "Strengthening our defense capabilities is not a threat to Russia," asserting that NATO's military movements are "defensive."

He acknowledged, however, that NATO was ready to heed Russian security demands, and agreements could be reached with Moscow.

In statements carried by news agencies, Plinkin said: "We have not seen any Russian withdrawal from the border with Ukraine."

He added: "Russian units continue to move towards the border with Ukraine, not the other way around."

The British Defence Minister, Ben Wallace, said earlier today that London had yet to see any evidence that Moscow was withdrawing its troops from positions near the Ukrainian border.
