Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al - Sisi today paid a visit to the United Arab Emirates, during which he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed al - Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, at the Al - Fattah Palace in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.
The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Bassam Radhi, stated that during his meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi had confirmed that his current visit to the United Arab Emirates was a continuation of the close and distinct relations between the two countries and their common destiny and future.
President El-Sisi reiterated the solidarity of the Government and people of Egypt with the United Arab Emirates following the recent terrorist incident.
President Sisi also stressed Egypt's condemnation of any terrorist act committed by the Houthi militia to target the security, stability and safety of the United Arab Emirates and its citizens, and stressed Egypt's support for all measures taken by the United Arab Emirates to deal with any terrorist act against it.
Egypt's firm position on strengthening the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates and on the close link between Egypt's national security and that of the Emirates.
The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency stated that Al-Sisi and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi had held bilateral talks. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan strongly appreciated the strategic and pivotal role played by Egypt under President Sisi in protecting Arab national security and defending the issues of the Arab nation.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed referred to Egypt's tireless efforts to consolidate security, stability and development in the region, based on Egypt's heavy role, its centrality and its components in the regional arena.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also paid for Egypt's comprehensive development renaissance, led by President Sisi in recent years, which was reflected in the creation of an attractive investment climate and the strengthening of the business environment.
That renaissance had brought about a remarkable qualitative shift in all aspects of life, which had contributed to the desire of Emirati businessmen to increase their investment in Egypt in the light of the significant and serious development they were seeing in the investment climate.
