An Israeli Foreign Ministry source today warned its citizens to avoid travelling to Ukraine, against the backdrop of tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
According to an Israeli foreign source, because of security tensions between Russia and Ukraine, and with growing fears of a Russian military invasion, Foreign Affairs issued a warning to the public calling on them to avoid travelling to Ukraine, particularly the eastern provinces of Lujansk and Donetsk.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that, for the Israelis currently in Ukraine, Foreign Affairs recommends increased vigilance and respect for their personal safety.
Over the past few days, Ukraine and several Western States have expressed concern over the intensification of acts of aggression by Russia near the Ukrainian border.
