According to one channel, the Israeli Mossad refused America's request to notify it in advance of any military strike against Iran.

And a high - ranking U.S. official today revealed that there is a high likelihood that defense leaders in America and Israel will consider conducting military exercises to prepare for the "worst" scenario when countries are forced to attack Iran and destroy its nuclear facilities.

According to one news agency, the official said that the talks to be held in the United States in the presence of Israeli Defense Minister Penny Janets followed a statement by American defense leaders.

The statement had been submitted on October 25 to White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, and included military options to ensure that Iran did not manufacture a nuclear weapon.

This comes in spite of Iran's repeated denial of its pursuit of nuclear weapons, which it says runs counter to its defense doctrine, and that it only wants to donate nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, but these American-Israeli preparations, revealed for the first time, reflect Western concerns about talks. Vienna to revive the 2015 nuclear agreement, which collapsed after the withdrawal of the United States under President Donald Trump.

The U.S. official refused to disclose details about possible military exercises, saying: "We are in this impasse because Iran's nuclear programme is evolving to a point beyond any usual rationale."
