Noting that Ankara intends to achieve a rapprochement with Egypt and Israel, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he will visit the Emirates next February at the head of a large delegation.

Erdogan considered that the agreements signed with the Emirates during the Ankara talks last week would usher in a new era in relations between the two countries.

He continued: "As we take steps with the Emirates, we will take similar steps with all of Egypt and Israel."

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, visited Ankara last week, where he held talks with Erdogan.

On the sidelines of the visit, the United Arab Emirates concluded agreements and memorandums of understanding with Turkey covering a number of areas that contribute to strengthening cooperation relations and opening new avenues for joint action between Abu Dhabi and Ankara.

Among the agreements was the establishment of a $10 billion United Arab Emirates fund to support investments in Turkey.
