Commenting on former President Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine's proposal to impose "hellish sanctions" on Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko,
Russian foreign spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, former President of Ukraine, was advised to pray after his words.
She said: "Dare I say that, someone whose millions of countrymen were forced to leave Ukraine during his presidency. Poroshenko forgot to add that Russia has unconditionally accepted hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians on its territory, and has granted citizenship and temporary asylum, as well as material and medical assistance.
It is recalled that earlier on Tuesday, Poroshenko proposed, through his channel in Telegram, strict restrictions on Lukashenko due to the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border.
According to Poroshenko, Kiev expressed its support for Poland and Lithuania, which were "dealing with the invasion of rude immigrants at Lukashenko's initiative."
