In announcing the dissolution of the Councils of Ministers and Sovereignty, the Sudanese army, which runs the country, stressed that the formation of the Government of the Sudan is "imminent."
Sudan TV quoted General Tahir Abu Haja, the media adviser to the commander of the Sudanese army, General Abdel Fattah Al - Burhan, as saying that "the formation of the Government is imminent."
He also added, "We examine all internal and external initiatives in the national interest," without further details.
On October 25, proof was reported to have declared a state of emergency and dissolved the institutions of the Transitional Authority, and the Sudanese Ministry of Information in the disbanded government declared that "the majority of ministers were arrested" by a military force. "
Since the announcement of these resolutions, the country, especially the capital, has been experiencing a wave of constant protests, demonstrators closing streets and civil disobedience.
On Wednesday evening, a joint statement by the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United States and the United Kingdom confirmed the stand with the Sudanese people and their aspirations for democracy. The quadri communiqué also called for the immediate return of the Transitional Civilian Government and its institutions in the Sudan.
