Volker Bertis, the United Nations Special Envoy for the Sudan, said that there were ideas at the negotiating table between them.
"Abdullah Hamduk," the Sudanese Prime Minister, and the country's military component, referring to the efforts of Egypt and the Emirates to resolve the crisis.
The United Nations Special Envoy for the Sudan, Volker Bertis, added that the Security Council's statement had helped to find a position to resolve the crisis, noting that there were issues relating to security arrangements "that must be taken into account."
The United Nations envoy noted: "We hope that positions will become clearer in the Sudan in the coming days."
They note that "the United States and regional Powers, primarily the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, are making efforts to resolve the crisis in the Sudan."
