Following the development of events in Afghanistan, President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan said today that the Taliban were ready "to launch a bloody attack on Kabul and its people to overthrow me.

He continued that the Taliban had won the rule of arms and had not succeeded in winning people's hearts.

The Afghan President, who left the country today, has indicated that the Taliban need a plan to win the hearts of society.

Rich noted that the Taliban face a historical test by preserving the name of Afghanistan.

"Today I have come across a difficult choice, either to confront Taliban gunmen who want to enter the palace or to leave the country where I have devoted my life to protecting and caring for him for the past 20 years," said Ghani, on his official Facebook page.

A Taliban official said that the group would soon declare the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

"The group will soon declare the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan from the presidential palace in the capital Kabul," the Taliban official said.

With the Taliban attacking large cities in the country, the situation in Afghanistan has deteriorated in recent weeks, and two senior Taliban leaders in Kabul saying that the Taliban militants took control of the presidential palace in Afghanistan after President Ashraf Ghouqi left the country.
