A Moroccan official revealed the involvement of generals from a "Moroccan country," in the case of the entry into Spanish territory of the leader of the Frente POLISARIO, Ibrahim Ghali, which had caused an unprecedented crisis between Rabat and Madrid.

The Maghreb News Agency quoted the Ambassador-General for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and cans living abroad, Fouad Yezog, as saying that "an investigation has to be conducted, which we hope will be transparent in order to highlight all the circumstances of this case."

He noted that this investigation "may reveal many surprises, particularly the complicity and interference of four generals from a Moroccan country," referring to Algeria, according to the Moroccan website Hesperis.

The official added that "this information may surprise you, and may even be shocking to Spanish public opinion, but not surprised. As you know, Moroccan devices are among the most efficient, "highlighting that more data will be disclosed in due course.

In this context, he recalled that "when Morocco revealed the presence of Ghali in Spain since 19 April, many, including the media and the authorities, questioned the veracity of this information, before confirming it 24 hours later."

On the other hand, Yazug has recorded that, apart from "the damage caused by the Moroccan-Spanish partnership, the Gali case shows, first, that Spain has chosen, among its citizens, victims of heinous crimes and, on the other hand, a criminal responsible for the murder of dozens of Spaniards, as well as for the crimes of rape, torture and disappearances."

He continued: "Spain must, at the outset, explain to its general opinion, before explaining to Morocco, the circumstances, circumstances and collusion that led to this person's fraudulent entry into Spanish soil, false documents and impersonated identity."

He stressed that "Spaniards have a right to know, especially since the Spanish authorities and political class are aware that he is being pursued by Spanish citizens in Spanish courts and for crimes committed in Spain."
