Today, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kazemi, together with the United States Government delegation led by Brett McGurk, the White House Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa, discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation relations.
The Information Office of the Prime Minister said that "During the meeting, joint coordination and cooperation were discussed in various areas, emphasizing the activation of the outcome of the strategic dialogue between Iraq and the United States, particularly with regard to the withdrawal of fighting forces from Iraq and the development and expansion of cooperation in the economic, cultural and commercial fields."
"Cooperation in the area of health and combating the Corona pandemic has also been discussed, as well as assistance in providing support for the rehabilitation of certain health institutions in Iraq.
The United States Government delegation, led by the White House Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa, included Brett McGurk, United States Department of State Adviser Derek Chollet, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Middle East Affairs Dana Stroll and Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs JoHH.
