During his visit to the Sudan today, President Abdulfattah Al – Sissi  and President Abdulfattah Al - Burhan of the Sudan Transitional Council met.

The statement of proof was made at a press conference following the joint talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al - Sisi.

The President of the Sudan Transitional Council stressed that the Egyptian President's visit to the country represented genuine support for the Sudan and support for the Sudanese people's revolution, noting that the visit contributed to strengthening and strengthening fraternity ties between the two States, which would be reflected in the transition in the country.

The President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council pointed out that President Sisi's visit came at a time when the Sudanese State was in transition facing many difficulties, adding: "We discussed all files that would support joint cooperation."

"Egypt's positions are honourable and supportive of the Sudan," said Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, referring to its support for the Transitional Government in order to establish and consolidate democratic governance, which the Sudan seeks to achieve in a healthy transitional period. "

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt, together with President Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan of the Sudan Transitional Sovereignty Council, discussed developments in the situation in the file of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, according to a statement by the Egyptian presidency, which noted the emphasis of both sides on "the need for the highest level of coordination between Khartoum and Cairo and on the rejection of any unilateral measures aimed at imposing a fait." The visit comes amid a major diplomatic and military move between the two countries, following the signing of military agreements by the Egyptian Chief of Staff to the Sudan on March 2. The Convention was signed in Khartoum, in the presence of the leaders of the armies of the two countries, who confirmed that the two countries faced common threats.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Sudan and her Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, met in Cairo last Tuesday. She also met with the President of Egypt.

Egypt's firm position on the necessity of reaching a binding legal agreement on the filling and operation of the Al-Nahda Dam, taking into account the fact that it does not affect the country of Egypt and the Sudan.
