A large volume of internal Israeli disputes, most recently over the accusation that Iran is behind the contamination of Israeli beaches

That's what Hebrew newspaper revealed today.

The Hebrew newspaper Yiddaut Ahronot reported this morning that Israel's Minister for Environmental Protection, Gila Gammel, had accused Iran of being behind the contamination of its Mediterranean shores, without single scientific evidence, and without coordination with Israel's security agencies.

The newspaper confirmed that Mossad and the Israeli army did not know anything about the accusations by the Minister of Iran about tar beach contamination, and that Gila put the matter forward and provided little scientific information, nor did she involve both Mossad and the Israeli army in the investigation process.

Yesterday night, the Israeli Minister for Environmental Protection revealed the identity of the vessel, which had contaminated 160 kilometres of its shores, and said that it had sailed from Iran, owned by a company in one of the Arab States.

The Israeli minister claimed that "a piracy ship owned by a Libyan company that sailed from Iran is responsible for the environmental attack."

She continued: Iran is engaging in terrorism not only with nuclear weapons or by attempting to be stationed near our borders. Iran is waging terrorism by damaging the environment. Our fight against pollution and damage to the environment is a cross-border battle. "
