The mothers of children live in a nightmare and constant anxiety due to the outbreak of the highly dangerous and contagious Arcturus Virus, so that it does not infect children and get them seriously ill, especially after emphasizing the need to wear masks again, to avoid symptoms and its transmission from one person to another.

The new mutator, Arcturus, had spread in Australia and India, which decided to re-apply protective mask laws again, according to the British newspaper “Mirror”. Last year, but the truth is, the virus continues to cause harm, and people who are least able to cope continue to suffer, so the necessary precautions must be taken, including wearing masks.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population said, in press statements, that the Corona mutants that appear from time to time in the world, the most recent of which was the new Corona mutator “Arcturus”, are very normal, explaining that the mutation is a feature of all viruses, not just the Coronavirus.

Symptoms of the new Arcturus mutant

Dr. Vipin Vashishta, a pediatrician and former head of the Immunization Committee of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, said in a statement to the Hindustan Times that the symptoms of the new variant are as follows:

  1. body's temperature raising.
  2. Cough.
  3. Conjunctivitis or "pink eye".

How is the new mutant Arcturus transmitted?

The new Corona mutator, “Arcturus”, can be transmitted as follows, according to the World Health Organization:

- Direct contact with people infected with the new Corona mutant “Arcturus”.

It can also be transmitted through contact with surfaces, food, and water contaminated with the virus.

Contact with infected organisms, including pets, livestock, and insects such as fleas and ticks.

- Coughing or sneezing, as droplets travel in the air for distances of approximately six feet, and germs can be transmitted to the eyes, nose, or mouth of the person opposite and cause infection.

- Among the reasons that help the transmission of infection and the infection of the mutated, piercing the skin with a needle or a sharp contaminated tool.

The United Nations General Assembly had identified, on its official Facebook page, the importance of wearing a protective mask, which began after the outbreak of the new Coronavirus, Covid 19, and is considered one of the best ways to slow the spread of the virus, by placing the mask on the face, in addition to washing hands. And adhere to physical distancing.

She indicated that wearing a mask is a cheap and effective way to reduce the transmission of the disease, with the need to maintain a distance of at least one meter between the two people.

As for the type of muzzle to be used, I specified it as follows:

Cloth masks
It acts as a barrier between the mouth and nose, and the surrounding environment. It is intended to be used in the community or public places where there are cases of infection with the virus and its variants, and at the same time maintaining physical distance between people is not possible, for example in grocery stores or public transportation, not recommended Used by people from vulnerable populations, such as those over the age of 60, or those with underlying medical conditions, they should wear medical masks, and they should be washed daily.
