At a time when British health officials warned of any symptoms they might face, the British newspaper The Sun reported, norovirus infection began to spread inside the United Kingdom.

Norovirus infection occurs in closed and crowded environments, such as hospitals and schools, and can cause sudden onset of symptoms, including severe vomiting and diarrhea.

According to Mayclank, this virus is highly contagious, usually spread through food or water contaminated during preparation or spread through contaminated surfaces, and can also be infected by direct contact with an infected person.

Norovirus symptoms last mostly from one to three days, and most people recover completely without needing treatment, but some require prolonged treatment such as children and the elderly.

Norovirus infection has in some cases caused severe dehydration, malnutrition and sometimes death.

The Sun reported that vomiting and diarrhea are obvious symptoms of norovirus, but some do not know that abdominal pain, limbs, and overheating are also a sign of the "bad winter" bug.

The British Health Security Agency sent a warning to remind the British of the symptoms and how to keep them safe.

The spread of norovirus in Britain is likely to ease the restrictions of the corona virus, where social communication has increased, yet other germs have infiltrated daily life.

Norovirus, usually widespread during winter, began to spread to care homes in England.
