Egyptian authorities announced that Cairo is celebrating the export to Palestine of half a million doses of the corona vaccine, in cooperation with China.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt and Acting Minister of Health, said that "Egypt is celebrating today the granting of half a million doses of the Corona Sinovac vaccine in cooperation with the Chinese partner of the State of Palestine."

He continued that: "The vaccine has received emergency use in Palestine," he said. "The choice by the World Health Organization (WHO) of Egypt as one of the countries supported by the Organization's technology (mRNA) to manufacture anti-corona vaccines will support the State's efforts to counter corona by expanding the manufacture of vaccines, vaccinating all target groups, achieving vaccine self-sufficiency, and expanding support for the African continent and neighbouring countries."
