With the rise of omicron mutant infections, the World Health Organization (WHO) said the Corona pandemic could see more mutants emerge, calling for the sharing of information and knowledge on vaccine production.

At a press conference today, the director of the organization, Tedros Adhanom, said, "This pandemic is not coming to an end, and with the spectacular growth of the infections of the global omicron mutant, new mutants are likely to emerge, which is why tracking and evaluation are still important."

He added, "Omicron may be less severe on average, but saying it's a mild disease is misleading, hurting the general response, and costing more lives."

The Director of Global Health continued, "We need to make sure that we share the current vaccines fairly, and that we develop the industrialization distributed throughout the world. We can only overcome this virus if we work together and share health tools fairly. "
