Since its discovery last November, scientists have been racing time to see if omicron causes a lighter disease.

A recent Danish study revealed that the Omicron mutant is more skilled than the Delta mutant in the immunosuppression of the pollster, which helps explain the rapid spread of infection in recent times.

Among them, the length of time it stays in the atmosphere, its ability to attach to cells and to evade the immune system in the human body, the causes of the virus's ability to spread infection are many.

From a study of about 12,000 homes in Denmark, in mid-December, scientists found that Omicron is 2.7-3.7 times more likely to be infected than Delta mutants among Danes with a vaccine.

According to a study conducted by researchers at the University of Copenhagen Institute of Statistics, the omicron mutant is spreading faster, mainly because it is better than the delta mutant in vaccine-induced immunology.

Health data indicate that 78 percent of Danes received the full vaccine, while about 48 percent received a third enhanced dose.

The study also found that those who took an enhanced third dose were less contagious than those who were not fed, regardless of the strain of the virus.
