A source responsible for the World Health Organization (WHO) today stated that WHO will examine the production lines of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against the corona virus, in February 2022, if the necessary portion of the documentation is submitted by the end of December.
According to one Russian agency, the Russian Direct Investment Fund promised to send data on vaccine quality and production by the end of December, and the second data package will be sent to the World Health Organization by the end of January 2022.
Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that there is consistent evidence that the omicron mutant is spreading faster than the delta mutant, causing infection to people who are vaccinated or have recovered from the corona virus.
WHO Director Tedros Adhanom Gebresos said that 2022 should be the end year of the Corona epidemic, adding that "there is now consistent evidence that omicron is spreading much faster than delta mutants."
The Director of Global Health noted that people who had received the vaccine or who were recovering could be infected with the new omicron mutant of the corona virus.
