World Health Organization vaccine officer Kate O'Brien today warned that rich countries will start stockpiling corona vaccines again, threatening global supplies as they seek to
support stockpiles to fight the epidemic, especially after the emergence of the new mutant Omicron.
According to a source, Kate O'Brien, WHO vaccine officer, said rich countries donating relatively short-lived corona virus vaccines were a "big problem" for the Kovacs vaccine distribution programme.
O'Brien indicated that in countries receiving doses through Kovacs, waste doses were lower than in many high-income countries.
