Calling it "unlikely," the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, ruled out another closure in Britain because of the Omicron mutant, while noting that there was close monitoring of developments in the new corona virus.

At a press conference in London, Johnson announced plans to grant the third and enhanced dose of the corona vaccine to all adults over the age of 18 in Britain, starting next January.

Amidst widespread fears that the situation would be exacerbated by the recently monitored omicron mutant, the British Prime Minister indicated that 400 British Army personnel would assist in the distribution of anti-corona vaccines.

"I know the frustration we all feel with this new mutant," Johnson added, which is likely to be more dangerous, because of the mutations that may make it more widespread and deadly.

It should be noted that these statements have raised new concerns in financial markets about the course of the pandemic.
