Since mid - May last, Germany's health authorities recorded the highest number of corona infections today.

The number of casualties had exceeded 100 per 100,000 citizens in the past seven days.

According to data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases, the number of confirmed corona virus infections in Germany increased to 4 million and 452,425 after 15145 new infections were recorded.

Data indicated that the number of deaths had risen to 95,077 after 86 new deaths had been recorded.

For his part, Health Minister Jens Spann noted that Germany could deal better with HIV now because of vaccination: "Restrictions such as the wearing of masks and restrictions on the internal activity of uninfected persons will remain until next spring."
