To stem the escalation of Covid-19 injuries and deaths, the Romanian government decided to reinstate a nighttime curfew and make health permits compulsory to enter most public places as of Monday.
The Romanian government also decided to suspend schooling for two weeks as the government sought to stop an increase in Covid-19 injuries and deaths.
These procedures were approved by the Interim Government late Friday evening.
Romania has reportedly recorded record numbers of deaths and daily infections of the Corona virus this month and hospitals are under great pressure to break down.
Romania has the second lowest vaccination rate against the corona virus in the European Union.
