Today, Justin Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister, called on the Canadian people to quickly receive the new corona vaccine.

And clever on the social media site Twitter: "Every time someone gets a dose of the vaccine, we get very close to ending the battle against the corona virus, so please do your part and get vaccinated."

Canada today has declared that all foreigners vaccinated with a vaccine authorized for use by Health Canada will be allowed into the country for non-essential purposes and will not require quarantine for 14 days. Canadian airports are advised to arrive early and prepare for longer waiting periods in anticipation of new rules and additional public safety precautions.

Toronto Pearson International Airport issued a statement asking all departing local passengers to arrive at least an hour and a half before their flights and international passengers to arrive at least three hours in advance. They added that access to international passengers "can take three or more hours."
