To alleviate the symptoms of the new corona virus, New Atlas revealed. Pfizer America is continuing to test a new treatment.

The source said that the tests entered their second stage, where participants were given a simple treatment, reflected in pill-based pills, which could be taken at home during the early stages of infection.

The drug is reported to belong to the class of antiviral treatments, known as protein enzyme inhibitors, called "PF-07321332."

Pfizer said in a statement: "Protein enzyme inhibitors, such as PF- 07321332, are designed to prevent the major protease enzyme activity that corona virus needs to spread and reproduce."

She added: "It is expected that a low dose of ritonavir will help to slow or halt reproduction once and for all."

It is expected that over the next few months, 3000 people will be registered to volunteer for the tests.

New Atlas stated that researchers expect the first results of these tests to emerge by the end of this year.
