The Italian Ministry of Health recorded 12,074 new infections and 390 deaths of the corona virus causing Covid-19 infection.

In a new statistic, the Ministry reported that the number of new Corona virus infections recorded in Italy over the past 24 hours had increased by 12074, compared with 8864 Monday, bringing the overall number to a level of 3891063, including active 482715.

The Ministry of Health added that it had monitored 390 deaths from the disease within a day, compared with 316 cases in Monday's data, bringing the number of victims of the pandemic in the country to 117,633.

The Ministry of Health also reported that the recovery toll increased to 3290,715 after 22453 new cases of recovery were observed.

Italy is the eighth country in the world in terms of the incidence of the corona virus and the sixth in terms of the number of deaths from the pandemic.
