The British region of Gibraltar, south of the Iberian Peninsula, became one of the first regions of the world to rid itself of the restrictions imposed by Corona, having been able to pollinate the vast majority of the population.

According to health data, the authorities in this region vaccinated 88.1 percent of the population, the overwhelming majority being immune to Cofid 19.

It has been reported in the press that life has almost returned to life in this small area bordering Spain, with many betting to visit it over the coming summer because it will be among the safest destinations in Europe.

It is reported that the authorities stopped requiring people to wear the muzzle, while the people returned to meet each other in cafes, restaurants and bars.

People resumed earlier restricted gatherings, and there was no such thing as social divergence, because the people had spent Easter amidst family warmth.

The population of Gibraltar had been able to make such progress, while experts argued that the vaccination of approximately 70 or 80 per cent was sufficient for the population of a State or region to gain collective immunity or what was known as "herd immunity."

The Chief Minister of Gibraltar, Fabian Picardo, thanked the United Kingdom for its support in the vaccine campaign, stressing the importance of vaccination and belief in science, and stressed that they were the only ways out of the crisis that had confiscated people's freedom and covered their previous lives.
