Scientists have said that there are likely to be fewer deaths due to Corona virus-related Covid-19 disease, due to the onset of warming in some countries around the world.

Experts have found that sunny spots have seen about one third fewer deaths due to the corona virus more than a year ago.

Scientists say that ultraviolet radiation can release a chemical into the skin that prevents the spread of the deadly virus, with the limitations imposed by the epidemic gradually fading away.

Researchers from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom compared recorded deaths from COFID-19 with UV levels, in 2474 counties in the United States, between January and April last year.

They found that people living in areas with a higher level of UV exposure had a 95 percent lower risk of dying from corona virus.

The same results were repeated in England and Italy, according to the results of a study published in the British Journal of Dermatology.

However, experts said the reduction in deaths from corona virus could not be explained by high vitamin D levels, as the areas analysed had insufficient levels of ultraviolet radiation to produce enough vitamin in the body.

One explanation remains that sunlight causes the skin to release nitric oxide, which may reduce the ability of the virus to reproduce and spread.

Dr. Richard Wheeler, from the University of Edinburgh, said: "Much remains to be understood about Covid-19, which has led to many deaths worldwide."

"These early results promise that exposure to sunlight can be a useful way to reduce the risk of dying from HIV infection," he added.

Professor Chris Deben, co-author of the study, said: "The relationship between COFID-19 mortality and sun exposure has been extremely striking, and here we offer an alternative explanation for this phenomenon."

Previous research has shown that increased exposure to sunlight is also associated with improved cardiovascular health, with reduced blood pressure and reduced heart attacks.
