With the alarming expansion of corona and its mutant strains in more than one region, several Arab countries have stepped up their responses to the virus.

In Morocco, the government has decided to tighten national night curfew restrictions throughout Ramadan. In accordance with this decision, mass prayers will be suspended in the mosques and families will be banned after breakfast.

The increase in cases has also prompted Tunisia to ban gatherings throughout the country and to extend the night curfew to 10 hours a day, under procedures that will be in place between April 39.

The Saudi Ministry of Health also warned against complacency in the application of precautionary measures, after the number of casualties rose the largest since last December.

In the Sultanate of Oman, the health authorities had declared that non-resident foreigners should be denied entry into the country as of today.

The High Commission against the Corona Virus in the Sultanate also decided to extend the evening ban on all commercial activities until the end of Ramadan.

Egypt has adopted a strategy based on several measures to ensure that Corona casualties do not rise in the month of Ramadan. These include not allowing the performance of the prayer and retreat of mosques, or the holding of iconic tables, and prohibiting the holding of large indoor gatherings.

as well as compliance with controls over commercial activities, parks, restaurants, cafés and similar ones.
