The White House said that the US President, Joe Biden, will announce that 90 percent of the US adult population will be eligible for vaccination by April 19.

The White House added that Biden would define new actions to achieve this goal by expanding the pharmacy programme and launching a new programme to transport older persons and persons with disabilities to vaccination sites.

According to Biden, 33 million doses of anti-corona vaccines will be distributed during the current week.

The President will also announce that the administration will increase the number of pharmacies in the federal pharmaceutical vaccination program from 17000 to nearly 40 thousand nationwide.

The authorities plan to establish more than a dozen mass vaccination sites by April 19, apart from a new effort to fund community-based organizations to provide transportation and assistance to the most vulnerable elderly and people with special needs in the country for vaccines.

Biden will call on all states to make all adults in the United States eligible for vaccination by May 1.

To date, 31 states have said they will open the doors to all adults for vaccination by April 19.

The President will also remind the Americans of the importance of taking preventive measures to stop the spread of corona, with the continued spread of mutant strains in the country, through the continued wearing of muzzles and social divergence.
